• Heart failure or peripheral vascular disease (not the same as heart attack, bypass surgery, arrhythmia, TIA or coronary artery disease)
• Cancer or malignant tumor

However if you had the illness within the last 3 years or currently hospitalized or confined to a nursing facility, then you will not qualify for coverage.
