• Heart failure or peripheral vascular disease (not the same as heart attack, bypass surgery, arrhythmia, TIA or coronary artery disease)
• Cancer or malignant tumor
• Unusual chronic infection or Immune System abnormality including HIV/AIDS
• Incurable terminal illness
• Organ transplant

Also currently NOT hospitalized or confined to a nursing facility.

Clarification: If you were diagnosed or treated with any illness above more than 3 years ago and you are currenlty not hospitalized or confined to a nursing facility, you can qualify for coverage. However if you had the illness within the last 3 years or currently hospitalized or confined to a nursing facility, then you will not qualify for coverage.
